Terms of Service — Twelve (Twelve Foundations)
Last updated: 2026-07-11
These terms cover your use of Twelve, a personal well-being tracker made by PinyaLabs (contact: info@pinyalabs.com). By creating an account you agree to them. If you only use the app locally without an account, the account and sync sections simply don’t apply to you.
The app
Twelve helps you track twelve pillars of well-being through focused 30-day cycles. It’s a self-reflection tool, not medical, psychological or professional advice. It doesn’t diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. If you are struggling, please talk to a qualified professional.
Your account
- You need a valid email address to create an account. Keep your password private; you’re responsible for activity under your account.
- One account is for one person. Don’t share credentials.
- You can sign out or permanently delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting removes your account and everything synced to our server (see the Privacy Policy); data still on your device stays until you remove it.
Your content
Everything you log — pillar choices, scores, notes, cycle history — is yours. We claim no ownership of it. We store it only to provide backup and sync to your signed-in devices, exactly as described in the Privacy Policy. We don’t sell it, mine it, or use it to train anything.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Twelve to break the law, don’t try to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the service, and don’t attempt to access other people’s accounts or data.
Premium subscription
Twelve is free to use for the core loop. Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual) that unlocks full history, backup/sync and additional features.
- Billing, renewals, price and cancellation are handled by your app store (Google Play or the App Store) under their terms. Manage or cancel anytime from your store account; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep Premium until the paid period ends.
- Refunds follow the policy of the store you bought through.
Service availability
We work to keep the service running and your data safe (see the backup practices in the runbook), but the service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the extent the law allows, PinyaLabs isn’t liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law (including in the EU).
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms materially, the updated version ships with an app update and is posted at this page, and we bump the consent version so returning users can be asked to accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state where PinyaLabs operates, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
